What would you do if......

What would you do if you had 10 days at home with the kids? (ok some of you are home all the time with the kids.. but when you are a working mom, being at home for an extended time is a challenge to find things to do)
So here goes our list of things we have done:

ATE lots of food!!! My parents fed us well while we lived with them for 4 days. My dad would cook every meal and dinner included a dessert every night. Oh yea, I think we all gained 10 pounds.

Played with our toys... Since the TV was not working, we actually used our imagination and played and played. One day, Emma was a waitress. She took our order, pretended to write it down and 'cooked' the food, then deliver it, then start again. It was a hoot. Then she would play school and I had to be the student. (and GaGa had to be a student too. He was naughty and it was driving her crazy. She kept saying, I'm gonna call your momma...)

Went to the downtown aquarium!!! I got an email that they were running a special for $5 and that got you into ALL of the exhibits at the aquarium and on all the rides. It was nice to get out together as a family and enjoy the afternoon. We met Mandy and Brady downtown and had a blast! Emma was Brady's "cousin" as she told everyone. She would hold his hand and want to walk him around. The funny part, is he let her!!! He copied each thing she did and would say everything she would say. It was so cute!!! Lillie loved the train ride and looked at all the sharks. Right when we got there, we got a map and look how cute the girls were looking at the map together!

Lillie's first carosuel ride. The baby seal was perfect size for her and she actually held on the WHOLE time and just looked around. It was so sweet!



Play outside and clean the yard... So when we were not looking, Emma went inside and changed into her swimsuit. So we turned on the sprinkler and let her play. Then she found Lillie's baby bath tub and decided to fill it up to make a "pool" for herself. Then she went into the garage and got her floaties and swim ring so she would not "ground" (drown) in the pool.



Birthday party..... for Emma's baby dolls. Oh yes, folks, we even baked a cake for her baby dolls, sang EACH one of them Happy Birthday and ate cake all together at the table. It was a hoot!!! (see video- this is only 1 video of about 3 total)


So I bet you are wondering where is Lillie in all of this??? She is being her sweet self, and just enteraining herself. She was in her exersaucer watching Emma play in the pool and just laughing and talking to herself. Here are some sweet pics of Lillie throughout the weekend. She is such a sweet baby and talks to herself and lets us know when she is hungry or wants to be played with.





In the mornings, I put the girls in the chair and let them watch a little TV before school. They are too sweet!
